Paper Roll Pumpkin Stack

You'll Need

  • 1 kitchen roll tube and 2 toilet roll tubes per tower
  • Orange paper or card, enough to wrap all three tubes
  • Black card, A5, one sheet (face panels)
  • Green tissue paper, 1 sheet (stalk)
  • PVA glue and glue stick
  • Scissors

Step by Step

  • Cut three rectangles of orange paper, each sized to wrap one tube with a 1 cm overlap. Wrap each tube and glue the seam with the glue stick.
  • An adult cuts small triangle eyes, a triangle nose and a zigzag mouth from black card. Glue these to the front of the largest tube (the kitchen roll) as the pumpkin face.
  • Stack the three tubes: the large tube at the base, the two smaller tubes on top of each other. Glue them together at the joints with PVA, pressing each joint for thirty seconds.
  • Tear a few strips of green tissue and twist them together loosely. Curl the ends around a pencil and tuck the straight end into the top of the uppermost tube, securing with a dot of PVA.
