Cut each sheet of card into strips, 2 cm wide and 20 cm long. Each strip makes one link. You need roughly ten of each colour for a good length of bunting.

Before linking, decorate the strips with faces. On green strips, draw a Frankenstein stitch-mouth and flat-top hair lines. On purple strips, draw a witch hat outline and pointy chin. On orange strips, draw a jack-o-lantern triangle eyes and zigzag mouth.

Curl the first strip into a loop and staple or glue the ends together. Thread the next strip through the first loop, curl and join. Continue until you have the length you want, alternating colours.

Hang by tying a loop of thread through each end link.
