Ghost Treat Cone

You'll Need

  • White card, A4, 160-200 gsm, one sheet per cone
  • Scissors (adult pre-cuts if needed)
  • Black fine-tip marker
  • Sticky tape or a glue stick
  • Sweets or small treats to fill

Step by Step

  • Roll one A4 sheet diagonally from one corner to form a cone roughly 20 cm tall and 8 cm across at the open end. Tape the outer seam to hold the shape. Trim the wide open end straight if the edge is uneven. An adult does the trimming.
  • At the lower open end of the cone, cut a fringe of 1 cm wide strips about 4 cm up from the bottom edge, all the way around the cone. This creates the wavy hem that reads as a ghost skirt. Folds in the card make this slightly fiddly: go slowly and the strips will be even enough.
  • Draw a ghost face on the upper pointed section of the cone: two oval eyes positioned about 4 cm from the tip and a small oval or round mouth below. Keep the face in the top quarter of the cone.
  • Fill the cone with sweets from the wide end, then fold the top lip inward slightly or seal with a sticker. The fringe holds the cone naturally closed enough to carry without spilling.

Good to Know
