Clementine Pumpkins with a Celery Stalk Stem
- 12 clementines or satsumas
- 3 stalks of celery
Peel each clementine, keeping the fruit whole so the segments stay connected and the ridged pumpkin shape is visible.
Trim the leafy tops off the celery and cut each stalk into 4 short spears, each about 3 cm long.
Press the flat end of one celery spear firmly into the top of each clementine where the stem navel sits.
Arrange the pumpkins on a serving board or tray, optionally on a bed of curly kale for a garden patch look.
