Apple Stamp Wrapping Paper

You'll Need

  • 1 apple, halved crossways by an adult before the session
  • Red or green paint, 2 tablespoons, poured into a shallow tray
  • 1 large sheet of paper, at least A2 (lining paper or brown parcel paper works well)

Step by Step

  • An adult halves the apple crossways before the session. The cut face should be flat and the star-shaped core pattern visible.
  • The child presses the apple face into the paint until evenly coated, lifts it, and presses firmly onto the paper. Lift straight up to keep the print clean.
  • Repeat across the sheet, reloading with paint every two to three stamps. Leave flat to dry for thirty minutes before using as wrapping paper.

Good to Know
