72 Bachelorette Truth or Dare Questions Nobody Regrets in the Morning

These bachelorette truth or dare questions are built for the maid of honour who wants the night to feel wild enough to be memorable and calm enough that the bride actually enjoys herself. Six rounds, twelve questions each, escalating from sweet to bold. Nothing humiliating, nothing anyone would hide from the wedding photographer.

How to Play

Deal the printed cards face-down in a pile or spread them across the table. Each player draws a card, reads it aloud and either answers the truth or completes the dare. The bride always gets first pick of any card. Rounds run in order from One to Six, so the energy builds naturally over the evening. A player can pass once per game without penalty, no pressure and no penalties that involve anything uncomfortable. The game ends after Round Six or whenever the group is ready to move on.

How Well Does Everyone Know the Bride

  3. What was her first job?
  4. What is her go-to coffee order?
  5. Name one thing she absolutely cannot eat or refuses to try.

  9. Name the friend who has known her the longest at this table.
  10. What is the one song she always requests at a party?

Harder Dares

Round Five raises the stakes without raising anyone's stress levels. These dares are bold, funny and completely harmless, the kind that make good stories without requiring anyone to do something they will wish they had skipped.

  1. Dare: Call a mutual friend who is not at the party and sing the first verse of a love song together as a group before hanging up.
  2. Dare: The bride must describe her partner using only descriptions she would use for a dessert.
  3. Dare: Draw a portrait of the bride from memory in 60 seconds, no looking at her, and she picks her favourite.
  4. Dare: Each person writes down the most romantic thing they have ever done or had done for them, the bride reads them all aloud and the group guesses who wrote each one.
  5. Dare: Everyone must speak in a different accent for the next three minutes, bride chooses the accent for each person.
  6. Dare: The group composes a wedding toast in two minutes using only words shouted out by the bride.
  7. Dare: Each person performs the opening move of their go-to first-date behaviour, flirtatious or otherwise, and the bride ranks them.
  8. Dare: One volunteer calls a local flower shop and asks, completely seriously, what flowers best express "she's finally off the market."
  9. Dare: Everyone writes a fake tabloid headline about the bride's love life and reads it in their best newsreader voice.
  10. Dare: The bride must assign everyone at the table a role in the story of her relationship (the hype person, the sceptic, the one who cried first, etc.) and explain each choice.
  11. Dare: Each guest gives a 20-second best-man-style roast of the bride, sweet and affectionate, nothing she would want cut from the wedding video.
  12. Dare: The group invents a couple name for the bride and partner, debates it seriously for two minutes, and takes a vote.

The Toast Round to Finish

End on warmth. This final round replaces drawn cards with a slow pass around the table, each person reading their prompt and answering it directly to the bride. Keep glasses full and tissues close.

When to Stop and How to End the Game Well

Six rounds takes most groups between 90 minutes and two hours depending on how talkative the table is. Finish Round Six before anyone is visibly tired and the last memory of the game will be the toasts, which is exactly the right note.

If the group runs fast, skip individual draws in Rounds One and Four and put those cards in a central pile for anyone to answer. If energy dips between rounds, take a ten-minute break with food or a playlist change rather than pushing through.

One practical note for the maid of honour: collect all the toast cards at the end of the night. Slipped into an envelope with the date on the front, they make a quiet and genuinely useful wedding gift, the kind the bride will open a year later and actually feel something. For more ideas to fill the whole evening, the full bachelorette party games guide has 25 options that work alongside this one. And if anyone at the table wants to keep the truth-or-dare energy going as a couple later, flirty truth or dare questions for couples picks up exactly where this game leaves off.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many players do you need for this bachelorette truth or dare game?

It works well with five to twelve players. Smaller groups move through rounds faster, so you can linger on the toast round. Larger groups may want to set a two-minute timer per answer to keep things moving.

How long does the full six-round game take?

Most groups finish in 90 minutes to two hours. If time is short, play Rounds One, Three and Six only for a 45-minute version that still has the trivia opener, a dare round and the emotional finish.

How do you print and prepare the cards?

Print each sheet on cardstock for durability. Cut along the dashed lines, laminate if you want them to last, and bind each round with a binder ring so the sets stay sorted. Label the backs with the round number before laminating.

Are these questions appropriate for a mixed-age bachelorette group?

Yes. Every question and dare here is PG-13 and designed to be funny, warm or thoughtful rather than explicit. Nothing requires anyone to share information they would be uncomfortable with at a family dinner the next day.

What if someone does not want to answer a truth question?

Each player gets one free pass per game, no explanation needed. The card goes to the bottom of the pile and the next player draws. Keep the rule light and state it at the start so nobody feels awkward using it.

Can the bride skip questions directed at her?

She can pass on anything in Round Two if a memory is genuinely private, but in practice most brides enjoy this round most. Frame it as her chance to tell the story her way rather than a quiz she has to pass.
