Vermouth Spritz
Ingredients
- Ice
- 2 oz dry vermouth
- 2 oz chilled prosecco
- 2 oz chilled soda water
- 1 long lemon twist for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a coupe glass or short wine glass halfway with ice cubes.
- Pour 2 oz dry vermouth over the ice.
- Add 2 oz chilled prosecco, pouring slowly along the inside of the glass to keep the fizz intact.
- Top with 2 oz chilled soda water and give it one gentle stir.
- Twist a long strip of lemon peel over the glass to release the oils, then drape it over the rim and serve at once.
Good to Know
Sweet vermouth works as a substitute for a rounder, less bitter pour; keep the rest of the ratio the same.
