Passion Fruit Fizz
Ingredients
- 2 ounces passion fruit pulp from about 2 fresh passion fruits, or thawed frozen pulp
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup
- 3 ounces sparkling water
- Ice for shaking
- 1/2 passion fruit for garnish
- 1 mint sprig for garnish
Instructions
- Add the passion fruit pulp, lime juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice.
- Shake hard for 15 seconds, until the shaker feels frosty on the outside.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Top slowly with the sparkling water.
- Float the passion fruit half, seeds up, on the surface of the drink.
- Tuck a mint sprig beside the fruit and serve right away.
Good to Know
No fresh fruit around? Frozen passion fruit pulp, thawed, measures and tastes almost identical.
