Classic Mimosa. Bridal shower drinks
Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes
Makes 1 drink (multiply by 20 for a full bar)

Ingredients

  • 2 oz fresh orange juice chilled
  • 3 oz brut champagne or prosecco chilled
  • 1 thin curl of orange zest or 3 fresh raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill a champagne flute in the freezer for 5 minutes so the first sip stays as cold as the last.
  • Pour 2 ounces of orange juice into the chilled flute.
  • Top slowly with 3 ounces of cold champagne or prosecco, pouring down the inside of the glass so it doesn't foam over the rim.
  • Give the drink one gentle stir with a bar spoon, no more, so the bubbles survive the mix.
  • Garnish with a curl of orange zest or three whole raspberries dropped in and serve right away, while it is still fizzing.

Good to Know

For a crowd, set the bottles and juice out separately as a self-serve bar rather than pre-mixing; pre-poured mimosas go flat sitting in a pitcher.
