How to Play
Print one Questions sheet per player for each round (answers are hidden — they live on the separate Answer Key sheet, which goes to the host or is set face-down until scoring time). Each player reads a question aloud, then both partners write their guesses simultaneously on a notepad so no one can copy. Reveal answers together, award one point per correct answer, and tally scores round by round. The player with the most points after all six rounds wins bragging rights — and probably has to pick the next date-night activity. You can play all six rounds in one sitting (budget about 45–60 minutes) or tackle one round per evening across the week. Either way, keep it playful: the conversations that come out of wrong answers are honestly half the fun.

Round 6: Memory Lane
This final round is the sentimental one, and it might just be the best conversation starter of the whole evening. Think of it as a walk back through your shared story — the moments, milestones, and tiny details that make your relationship uniquely yours. Pairs beautifully with a homemade dinner (maybe something cosy like an Amish Breakfast Casserole for a relaxed brunch-date version!) or a glass of something special. Once you’ve printed and laminated the sheets with binder rings holding each round together, slot them all into a little tin and pull them out whenever you need a game-night idea. And honestly, if you want to make the whole evening feel extra special, put a little effort into the snack spread too — even something light like a Low Calorie Veggie Breakfast Bake on the table makes the whole thing feel more like an event.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play couples trivia questions at home?
Print one Questions sheet per person for each round and keep the Answer Key sheet face-down (or with the host). Each player writes their guess simultaneously, then you reveal answers together and score one point per correct match. Tally after each round and crown a winner after all six rounds.
How many players do you need for couple trivia questions?
The game works perfectly with just two people — one partner is the ‘subject’ and the other is the guesser, then you swap. It also scales up brilliantly for a group: four or more couples competing round-by-round is an absolute blast for a dinner party game night.
How do I print and use the printable sheets?
Print each sheet on blank cardstock for a sturdy feel, then laminate them with pouches so they last for years. Hole-punch the top corner and thread binder rings through each round’s pair of sheets (Questions + Answer Key) so they stay together. Store the whole set in a small tin.
Are these couple trivia questions appropriate for all ages?
All 120 questions are PG-13 — sweet, flirty at most, and fully family-friendly. They are written for adult couples (no graphic or explicit content) but there is nothing here that would be inappropriate at a mixed-age gathering.
How long does a full couples trivia night take?
A full six-round session typically takes 45–60 minutes, depending on how much conversation you spark between questions (and trust me, you will spark a lot). You can also split the rounds across multiple evenings — one round per date night works wonderfully.
Can I customise the questions to our specific relationship?
Absolutely — and that is the whole point! Because many of these are personalised (‘How well do you know ME?’) questions, both partners fill in their own answers before the game starts. The Answer Key sheets have blank spaces precisely for this. No two couples will have the same answers.
